Deerfield Golf and Country Club Wedding in Brockport, NY | Liz and Chris
This wedding was so special to me because I actually knew Liz and Chris before they knew each other! Liz and I went to high school together. We ran track and she taught me how to triple jump without falling flat on my face :) We listened to all our favorite CDs on the bus going to meets and while sitting in the tent in between events (think Reel Big Fish, New Found Glory, Bouncing Souls). We were as punk rock as you could be for teenagers living in the suburbs of Western New York haha.
Chris and I met in college at Geneseo where we were proud members of the Geneseo Geography Department. The first time I met Chris I was actually his TA for one of the geography labs! We spent many hours together in the GIS lab, followed by just as many hours going on adventures or crushing Geology in keg races :)
When the announcement popped up on my Facebook that Liz and Chris were in a relationship, I thought it was so cool that two people I knew from different parts of my life were dating! I was even more excited when I saw that they were engaged and I'm so honored to have been a part of their big day.
Liz and her bridesmaids got ready at her mom's house in Irondequoit. Wedding mornings are usually pretty hectic, but these ladies were all so calm and relaxed! It might have been the mimosas :)
That look on her dad's face when he saw her for the first time! So sweet!
Isn't Liz just stunning!?
The guys finished getting ready at the church. And there was a lot of teamwork to get those boutonnieres pinned on straight haha. They are never easy!
Oh how I love taking pictures of ring bearers. This guy was the cutest.
So glad I caught the little wave that Chris gave Liz as she walked down the aisle!
This was the best kind of ceremony. It had the serious parts, but more importantly had Liz and Chris smiling and laughing at each other through the whole thing :)
The thumbs up is because Chris was proud of putting the ring on correctly :)
This one of Chris showing off his wedding ring to the bridesmaids is one of my favorites!
Next time I need models for something, I'm just going to ask Liz and Chris. I could not take a bad photo of them!
The reception was a blast! The music, the toasts, the food - everything was just perfect.
This is by far the greatest late night snack you could ever have at a wedding. Soft pretzels with your choice of cheese, mustard, or cinnamon sugar. I regret not trying all three!
Thank you to all the wonderful vendors who made this day incredible!
