Great Falls Park Engagement Photos | McLean, VA | Sophie and Austin

Sophie and Austin had a perfect summer engagement session at Great Falls Park! If you haven’t been there before, you may not know that Great Falls is normally BUSY. It’s a very popular spot for tourists and locals alike in Northern Virginia, and it’s nearly impossible on a summer day to get an overlook all to yourselves! But we completely lucked out with a forecast that showed a chance of rain, so everybody else stayed home that day haha. It gave us the entire park to ourselves! All we had was a little bit of mist, but it never actually rained at all.

I just love that view of the rapids on the Potomac River. That iconic landscape is what typically brings all the crowds out to Great Falls Park!

Their outfits matched so perfectly with the scenery! Loving the color combo that Sophie and Austin went with.

I think anyone would be excited to see a cute deer during their engagement photos, but Sophie is studying to be a vet so it was extra cool that the wildlife came out during her session!

Can’t wait to celebrate with these two soon for their wedding day!
