We lucked out with a beautiful, sunny day in February for Andrea and Katie’s engagement photos at Manassas Battlefield. There was still snow on the ground from a recent snowfall, but it was actually warm out! It was the perfect combination for a fun afternoon on the trails. These two LOVE going on hikes with their rescue dog, Tessa, so of course she got to tag along for the pictures too.

We started the session at the Stone Bridge area of Manassas Battlefield, which is located right next to The Winery at Bull Run - where Katie and Andrea are getting married this fall! Maybe we’ll come back and hit up the trails again on their wedding day :)

Tessa was like “guys, this is the way to the rest of the trails. Why are you turning around?” She did this several times, haha!

After leaving the Stone Bridge area of the park, we headed over to the Stone House. The ground was even muddier over here, but Andrea and Katie didn’t seem to mind! I love getting to work with adventurous couples who aren’t afraid to get a little muddy for their pictures ❤️️
