An Evergreen Country Club Wedding in Haymarket, Virginia
Emily and Ben had an absolutely gorgeous wedding day at Evergreen Country Club in Haymarket. When I pulled up to the venue it was raining, but thankfully the rain moved through the area before their outdoor ceremony! The timing could not have been more perfect. These two are such a fun couple and it was a blast following them around all day. Enjoy the highlights!
I just love the bridal suite area at Evergreen. So much space for getting pretty!
Get ready, Emily is the queen of goofy faces and poses.
Emily and Ben had these sweet, personalized handkerchiefs made for their parents. They definitely came in handy for all the emotional moments throughout the day.
See now this is where those handkerchiefs start to be put to use. Emily's first look with her dad definitely had me tearing up!
Oh but don't worry, Emily quickly lightened the mood :)
This girl was so excited to get married!!
Loved how much fun these girls had together. It did not take much prompting from me to get this kind of genuine laughter!
The guys got ready at Evergreen also. And like I see at most weddings, the ties and boutonnieres were a team effort :)
This ceremony setup has 360 degrees of beautiful views. It's such a perfect spot!
There's a handkerchief again :)
Aww look how happy Ben is!
This laughing one is definitely one of my favorites!
I always ask the groomsmen to do a fun pose with the groom - sometimes "fun" can be interpreted as "make Ben cry."
I'm so glad the rain boots were only needed for photos and not for any actual bad weather :)
More amazing one-on-one photos. This whole wedding party was awesome!
Picture taking is hard work. Snack breaks are a must.
All of the toasts were so sweet. I think Ben's brother wins for most emotion though ❤
Ben told me from our very first meeting that he wasn't a big dancer, but I'm glad he stayed on the dance floor for at least a little while!
Warning to future brides: extreme dancing can lead to your hair accessories getting caught in your bridesmaid's hair. Be careful.
Thank you Emily and Ben for letting me be a part of your special day!
