Old Town Fredericksburg Engagement Session | Kelly and Jason (and Mini)

I’m so excited to share Kelly and Jason’s engagement session in Old Town Fredericksburg! These two woke up early to meet me for sunrise photos on the Rappahannock River - although overcast skies prevented us from actually seeing a sunrise, we still got BEAUTIFUL views of the river along the rocks. And they brought their sweet pup Mini along for the pictures too. Mini is 9 years old and doesn’t see too well anymore, but she still knows how to find the camera! There are so many cute ones of her looking right at me!

Kelly and I became friends on the soccer field, but her love for sports is especially evident when it comes to football. Ever since I’ve known her, one thing has been clear: she is a DIE HARD Cowboys fan. Girl loves her football team. Regardless of how well they’re playing, she is devoted and proudly takes on whatever comments come her way as a Dallas fan living in the DC area. As both Kelly and Jason put on Cowboys jerseys for the second half of their photos, I asked Jason if he had adopted the Cowboys as his team since they started dating. But no, he was already a fan!

A direct quote from Kelly during their session - “I don’t know if I could have dated him if he was a Redskins fan.” HA! Good thing they are a match made in football heaven.

For this picture, Mini decided to switch things up and pet Kelly instead! Haha!
