Wedding at 718 Venue | Fredericksburg, Virginia | Bekah and Jason
Bekah and Jason LOVE living in Fredericksburg, so they made sure that their wedding day involved as much of the city as possible! They chose 718 Venue on Caroline Street to host their big day, which put them right in the middle of their favorite city. They used all local vendors, including delicious food from Foode, dessert from Eileen’s Bakery, and a gorgeous wedding dress from Ava Laurenne. We were able to get photos in a few of their favorite spots downtown, and ended the day with a carriage ride through town to get frozen custard from Carl’s. Could not have planned a more Fredericksburg-themed day if they tried!
Above 718 Venue’s event space is a gorgeous bridal suite perfect for getting ready.
I just love this one of Lachlan looking up at his mom’s wedding dress!
Bekah and Jason had their adorable First Look on the staircase of the bridal suite. Lachlan helped supervise!
Bekah and her friends put together all of the ceremony decor themselves. I think she’s got a future career as a wedding planner because it was absolutely stunning!
Every wedding ceremony should have high fives involved.
We did engagement photos with Bekah, Jason, and Lachlan just a few days before the wedding, and they surprised Lachlan with one of the pictures printed and framed during the ceremony!
After the ceremony, we were able to walk around downtown Fredericksburg for a few minutes for photos! I think my favorite one is the goofy faces haha.
Ok future wedding couples, please take note. Waffle cakes are the best thing ever. I don’t care if you’re not having a brunch wedding, these things are delicious!
And then it was time for dancing - kicked off by Bekah and Lachlan!
The carriage arrived to whisk Bekah, Jason, and Lachlan off for a ride through Fredericksburg. We made a quick stop at Market Square, but then it was on to the frozen custard!
Made it to Carl’s!
