Spring National Mall Engagement Photos | Washington, DC | Avi and Payal
These spring engagement photos at the National Mall had a little bit of everything - the Reflecting Pool, Lincoln Memorial, Constitution Gardens, Washington Monument, and even a few cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin! Avi and Payal live in Texas, but they had a trip planned to DC and figured this would be the perfect time to take engagement photos and make the most of their vacation.
We met up at sunrise to avoid the crowds and it felt like we had the entire National Mall to ourselves. And I’m so glad they decided to book an extra long session so we could visit twice as many locations and check things off their DC bucket list!
I am in love with the formal outfits they chose, especially Payal’s dress!
Nothing like a little dancing when you have the Reflecting Pool all to yourself!
Next stop was Constitution Gardens. With the pond, willow trees, and perfect view of the Washington Monument, it’s one of my favorite spots for engagement pictures that doesn’t get visited very often!
Although we just missed the spring bloom of the cherry blossoms right along the Tidal Basin, we found a few more nearby!
Also how perfect was it that Payal had a pink, flowery shirt for these photos?!
I’m so glad we found some blossoms for them! They were one of the highlights of Avi and Payal’s spring visit to DC and a perfect way to wrap up their engagement session.
