Cherry Blossom and Supreme Court Engagement Photos | Washington, DC | Vi and Huy
When planning a spring engagement session in Washington, DC, you’ve got to involve the cherry blossoms! Vi and Huy have only lived in DC for less than a year, but they are loving their new city and totally embracing the cherry blossom craziness.
When they contacted me about their engagement pictures a couple months ago, they were completely willing to be flexible with scheduling to ensure we could take their photos during peak bloom! Initially they were actually planning to wake up at sunrise to beat the crowds, but rainy weather changed our plans. We ended up with an evening session instead, and had the most perfect sunny weather! And we even managed to still avoid the crowds.
In addition to the cherry blossom excitement, Huy was super pumped to get some engagement photos on the steps of the Supreme Court! He's a lawyer for the Department of Justice, so this spot was extra special for him.
When you’ve got break dancing skills, you obviously have to bust those out during your engagement photos!
Sometimes you get lucky, and find the Supreme Court steps almost completely empty!
Vi and Huy had their outfits completely on point for these pictures. The blush and navy go perfectly with cherry blossoms!
