Poplar Springs Manor Wedding | Warrenton, VA | Alex and Jake

This was the first wedding I’ve photographed at Poplar Springs Manor in Warrenton, VA and wow, what a gorgeous venue! Alex and Jake planned a beautiful day there surrounded by all of their friends and family. Their color palette was one of my favorites, with dusty blues and peaches that were great pops of color against all the greenery at Poplar Springs.

The manor has one of my favorite bridal suites I’ve ever been in. There’s so much space! With multiple rooms, dedicated hair and makeup areas, and lots of windows letting in natural light, you can’t ask for anything better for getting ready. With matching PJs and mimosas in hand, Alex and her bridesmaids had the perfect start to the wedding day!

Poplar Springs Manor has an iconic tree-lined path, and it was an amazing spot for Alex and Jake to exchange private vows before the ceremony!

I just loved this bouquet!

They had a large wedding party dressed in beautiful shades of blue who were such a blast to work with!

Their wedding ceremony took place with the manor house as the backdrop - with Alex and Jake at the top of the steps and guests seated on the patio below. It was such a sweet ceremony with tons of laughter!

I love the huge ballroom at Poplar Springs Manor with all the giant windows!

Their classic white wedding cake was adorned with the same white, peach, and blue flowers as their bouquets and centerpieces, perfectly tying in their wedding colors.

After the first dance, Alex’s dad gave a HILARIOUS welcome speech. Everyone in the room was cracking up!

After dinner there were more toasts, parent dances, cake cutting, and then the dance floor opened up. It was a beautiful evening for a beautiful couple!
