There are so many wedding DJs in the DC/Northern Virginia area, it can be really hard to choose who is the best fit for your big day! Not only are they in charge of creating an epic dance floor, but they are often providing audio for your ceremony and acting as emcee during the different events throughout the night.
Your DJ can make or break a wedding day, so I always recommend hiring a pro instead of using that friend with the good Spotify playlist 😂. Making sure you have someone that’s familiar with wedding timelines and has professional gear with backups will ensure your wedding day goes off without a hitch!
Be sure to do your research - reading online reviews on sites like Google, Wedding Wire, and The Knot will give you an idea of how many happy clients each DJ has worked with! And always check out the DJ’s website and social media accounts to find photos and videos of their weddings so you can get a feel for the services they provide and if they match your wedding vision. Asking your venue or other vendors for recommended DJs is also a great way to ensure you’re finding a DJ that has plenty of experience and successful wedding days under their belt.
