Union Station and DC War Memorial Wedding | Washington, DC | Kim and Steve

It was so much fun working with Kim and Steve for their intimate DC wedding day! We traveled to so many spots around the city from their ceremony at the DC War Memorial, to Union Station for photos, then to The Wharf for more pictures and a reception at Del Mar. It was so important to them to spend the day with their closest friends and family while also enjoying all that DC has to offer!

The wedding day started with getting ready at their house, and a very sweet First Look in their backyard.

They had an absolutely beautiful wedding, and a unity sand ceremony with their kids that managed to crack everybody up 😂. Sometimes when things don’t go exactly as planned it makes for some great memories!

With intimate weddings it’s always so fun to grab a big group photo of all the guests!

These two are just so cute together ❤️️

After leaving the DC War Memorial, we made our way over to Union Station for some more portraits with family and the wedding party. The arches at Union Station are such a great backdrop for photos!

And from Union Station we headed over to The Wharf! One of my favorite things about doing wedding photos at a crowded spot like The Wharf is how allllll the people will stop and tell the wedding couple congratulations and say how amazing they look. Makes for some happy photos when a million strangers are telling you that you look gorgeous!

Once we finished up couples portraits, it was time of the reception at Del Mar. Kim and Steve capped off their night with a beautiful cake and some sentimental toasts!
