Intimate wedding at Clyde’s Wllow Creek Farm in Broadlands, Virginia

It’s hard to believe, but Stephen and Jabar put this beautiful wedding together in under two weeks! Jabar proposed to Stephen back in December, but it wasn’t until August that they decided to start putting the plans in place. I’m always in awe of couples that are able to pull this off – it is no easy feat!

Clyde’s Willow Creek Farm is one of their favorite places to go for dinner, so it was definitely the right choice for their wedding day! These two wanted to keep things simple and sweet, so they invited 13 of their closest friends to witness their ceremony in one of Clyde’s private upstairs rooms. As their guests began to arrive on the wedding day, it was easy to see what a special group of friends Jabar and Stephen have. The joy and laughter that filled the room was just infectious!

Not once, but TWICE during the ceremony their wedding rings went toppling to the floor. The whole room was roaring with laughter!

While their friends enjoyed Clyde’s delicious drinks and appetizers for cocktail hour, Stephen and Jabar snuck outside with me for a few minutes to grab some photos. The property at Willow Creek Farm is just gorgeous - all the willow trees are amazing!
