Ashlee and Eric had an absolutely gorgeous sunrise for their engagement photos at the Reflecting Pool and Lincoln Memorial! There were clouds in the forecast so we weren’t sure if we’d just end up with an overcast morning, but we lucked out with some light fog rolling across the Reflecting Pool, and a perfect golden glow in the sky. This is why the National Mall at sunrise is one of my favorite spots!

These two had to postpone their destination wedding in Hawaii thanks to COVID, so they decided instead to get dressed up and take engagement pictures ❤️️

Ashlee is a stylist, so of course their outfits were incredible!

And don’t let the pictures fool you - it was FREEZING. I was bundled up in a hat and gloves! But Ashlee and Eric didn’t let the weather bother them and they totally rocked their engagement session despite the cold temperatures.

The sun finally came completely out from behind the clouds when we went up the steps of the Lincoln Memorial for some photos by the columns. Gotta love that golden light!
