Shenandoah National Park Engagement | Luray, VA | Renee and Caleb (and Penny and Daisy)

What an absolutely perfect day we had for Renee and Caleb’s engagement session at Shenandoah National Park! The sun was shining, and we were able to witness the most beautiful sunset. It took us several tries to get out there (so many rainy forecasts), but it was definitely worth the wait. Renee and Caleb love hiking and all things outdoors - they actually went rock climbing on one of their first dates! And of course their two pups love going on adventures with them. Renee is a rescue volunteer, so obviously Penny and Daisy are both rescues ❤️️❤️️❤️️

Can we just give some major props to Renee for climbing on this rock in those shoes?!

I love that the dogs are looking out at the beautiful views too!

After spending some time at Skyline Drive’s scenic overlooks, we headed into the woods to do a little bit of hiking on the Appalachian Trail. I know this was the dogs’ favorite part!

These two were just so sweet and cuddly with each other the entire time. There are so many cute photos of them it was hard for me to choose which ones to include!

After sunset, we hung out a little longer to get some night photos. Caleb is an aerospace engineer, so he was super excited to get some stars in their engagement pictures. We even saw a shooting star while we were there - probably the brightest one I’ve ever seen!

We’ll be heading back out to the Blue Ridge Mountains next summer for their wedding at Khimaira Farm. I can’t wait!
