Engagement Photos in Old Town Alexandria | Melissa and Geoff

Wandering around Old Town Alexandria with Melissa and Geoff for their engagement photos was so much fun. These two are upstate New Yorkers like me who have also relocated to the warmer Virginia climate. It’s crazy how many other New Yorkers I meet here! They actually live in Alexandria, so while their wedding will be back home in NY, doing engagement photos in Old Town Alexandria was the perfect way to document their love story here!

Can you believe that Geoff and Melissa actually met in the THIRD GRADE?! They “dated” for a bit in 7th grade, but things became official after they went to junior prom together. I am so jealous that they have those awesome/awkward childhood pictures together haha.

The Wilkes Street Tunnel is always one of my favorite locations in Old Town for engagement photos.

And of course we had to make a stop at the Prince Street cobblestones!

You can’t tell from the photos, but we were actually SURROUNDED by Nationals fans decked out in red! They were patiently waiting for the water taxi to take them to the playoff game. But we were crafty and managed to keep all the baseball fans out of the engagement pictures haha.
