What an amazing sunrise Alex and Lindsay had for their surprise proposal on Skyline Drive! The Blue Ridge Mountains in Shenandoah National Park never disappoint. Alex knew that he wanted somewhere private with a beautiful backdrop to propose, so his plan for early morning on Skyline Drive was perfect! By picking a weekday at sunrise, they had this gorgeous overlook completely to themselves (apart from me, the “nature photographer” taking pictures of the scenery nearby haha).

Lindsay was completely surprised by the proposal, and the emotions that went across her face during that first minute were priceless. I’m so glad that Alex thought to have this moment photographed!

It was super windy that morning, so we got lots of photos of Lindsay looking like a model with windswept hair!
