Sunrise Engagement Photos at the National Mall | Washington, DC | Matthew and Randy (and Phoebe)

I always love a good sunrise engagement session on the National Mall! I met up with Matthew, Randy, and their sweet little dog Phoebe (named after the Friends character!) at the Reflecting Pool and Lincoln Memorial. We had a perfect summer morning and got some beautiful golden sunrise light. We also had the place almost completely to ourselves! Definitely one of the major perks of waking up early and beating all the crowds.

Look at that happy little face! Phoebe was not quite sure what to make of the ducks in the Reflecting Pool haha, but she definitely had a fun morning!

The steps of the Lincoln Memorial are definitely one of my favorite iconic DC backdrops!

It was such a fun morning with these two and I can’t wait for their wedding this fall!
