Nicole and John had an amazing intimate wedding at the DC War Memorial last spring. Their immediate families joined them for the celebration and it was a beautiful day to spend on the National Mall.

And they had some incredible color coordination for their outfits! With navy suits for the guys and champagne dresses for the moms, everyone perfectly matched the classic and elegant vibe that Nicole and John were hoping for.

Their ceremony was so sweet, and they had a livestream set up so that friends and family who couldn’t be there were able to watch.

The wedding took place during the great cicada invasion of 2021 😂 so we made sure to incorporate the little guys into a few photos.

After finishing up photos at the DC War Memorial, we made our way down the National Mall to get more pictures at the Reflecting Pool and the Lincoln Memorial.

Gotta love some fun “under the veil” pictures!

It was a popular day to visit the National Mall, but I love that we got a mixture of the fun, busy, tourists everywhere backgrounds but also plenty of photos with no one else to be seen. It’s a good challenge as a wedding photographer!
